AI voice agent for politicians in India
An AI voice agent for politicians calls every voter in your constituency in their own language, holds a real two-way conversation, and hands your team booth-level intelligence by Monday morning. Built in India, compliant with ECI, TRAI and DPDP from the first call.
- 22+ languages
- Hindi and regional, low-literacy friendly
- Lakhs of calls
- A full constituency in days, not months
- 2-way
- The agent listens and answers, it does not read a script
- Booth-level
- Sentiment and issues mapped to the polling booth
An AI voice agent for politicians is a conversational system that phones voters, speaks to them in their own language, answers what they actually ask, and records what they said — at a scale no karyakarta network can reach and no call centre can afford. For an MP, MLA or first-time candidate, it turns the single hardest problem in Indian politics — knowing what several lakh people are thinking, right now — into a dashboard.
This is not a robocall. A robocall plays a recording and hangs up; completion rates sit under ten percent and voters resent it. A voice agent asks a question, waits, understands the answer, and responds to it. In field deployments across Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Jharkhand, that difference is the whole difference: conversations run several minutes, not several seconds.
AiSewak builds and runs these agents for elected representatives and candidates. We are not a self-serve calling tool. Every deployment is configured around one constituency, one language mix, one set of issues and one compliance posture, and it is operated with your IT cell rather than handed over as a login.
What an MP or MLA actually uses it for
The technology is the same in each case. What changes is the question the agent is sent out to answer.
Constituency listening
Call a stratified sample — or everyone — and ask what is not working. Water, roads, electricity, a school without teachers. The agent probes until the answer is specific enough to act on, then tags it to the booth.
Grievance intake that never closes
A published number the voter can call at 11pm. The agent logs the complaint, issues a reference number, routes it to the right office and calls back when it moves. Most offices lose grievances at the intake step, not the resolution step.
Scheme delivery in your name
Tell eligible households which central and state schemes they qualify for, what documents they need and which counter to visit. This is the single highest-goodwill call an elected representative can make.
Pre-poll sentiment tracking
Weekly waves on the same sample, so you see a four-point slip in a booth cluster while there is still time to respond to it, rather than reading about it in a result sheet.
Event and rally invitations
Personalised invitations that confirm attendance, capture a reason for declining, and produce a real headcount instead of a hopeful one.
GOTV on polling day
Booth-wise turnout calls through the day, targeted at your identified supporters, with live turnout data flowing back to the war room.
How a deployment runs
- 1
Constituency brief
We take your voter roll, your issue list and your language mix. Nothing about a Khalilabad seat generalises to a Nagpur seat, and the agent is written for one of them.
- 2
Agent and voice design
A persona your voters will accept, in the register they actually speak — not textbook Hindi. The agent is scripted for the objections that come up first, because those are the turns most agents fail.
- 3
Compliance setup
DLT registration, AI self-disclosure in the opening line, DND filtering, consent capture, and ECI or state CEO registration as a political advertiser where the deployment is electoral.
- 4
Pilot wave
A few thousand calls. We read the transcripts with you, fix what the agent got wrong, and only then scale. Every deployment that skipped this step has needed it later.
- 5
Scale and dashboard
Full rollout with a live dashboard: completion rate, issue frequency by booth, sentiment shift week over week, and the raw transcript behind every number.
What this replaces, and what it does not
It replaces the survey agency that gives you a PDF three weeks late from a sample of 1,200. It replaces the bulk-SMS blast nobody reads. It replaces the outsourced call centre charging ₹3–₹8 a contact for a script read badly in the wrong dialect.
It does not replace your karyakartas. The agent is how you find out which of the 400 booths needs a karyakarta on Thursday. Every deployment we have run ended with the field team doing more targeted work, not less work — the agent is a targeting instrument, and a targeting instrument is only useful to someone who can act on it.
It also does not clone your voice to say things you did not say. Synthetic audio of a real political figure is prohibited under the ECI advisory and we do not build it, including when asked.
Call a live agent before you decide
These are running agents, not recordings. Open one, press call and speak to it in Hindi or English — the same stack that runs the deployments described above.
Yojana Didi — scheme helpline
A citizen asks which schemes they qualify for. The agent checks eligibility and explains the application, in Hindi.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI voice agent for politicians?
A conversational AI system that places and receives phone calls on behalf of an elected representative or candidate. It speaks the voter's language, holds a two-way conversation rather than playing a recording, captures what was said, and reports issues and sentiment back at booth level. Typical uses are constituency listening, grievance intake, scheme awareness and get-out-the-vote calling.
Is an AI voice agent legal for outreach in India?
Yes, within a well-defined set of rules. The agent must disclose that it is an AI at the start of the call (ECI's 2024 advisory on synthetic media), outbound calling must respect TRAI TCCCPR 2018 and DLT registration, personal data must be handled under the DPDP Act 2023, and IT Rules 2021 govern the content itself. Election deployments additionally require registration with the ECI or the state CEO as a political advertiser. AiSewak ships these controls switched on by default rather than as an add-on.
Which Indian languages does the voice agent speak?
Hindi plus the 22 scheduled languages, and the regional variants that decide whether a call actually lands — Bhojpuri, Awadhi, Marwari, Mewari, Magahi, Santhali and others. Agents run on a mix of Indic-first models and the MeitY Bhashini stack, and a single agent can switch language mid-call when the person on the other end does.
Will voters reject an AI call?
They reject three things: a recording, a wrong dialect, and an agent that will not let them speak. Deployments that disclose the AI up front, speak the local register and genuinely listen see completion rates in the 35–55% range, against under 10% for old-style robocalls. The disclosure does not hurt completion — people stay because the call is useful, not because they were fooled.
How quickly can an MP or MLA get this live?
A single-constituency pilot of 50,000–200,000 voters is typically live in 14–21 days, including knowledge-base preparation, voice design, DLT registration and a supervised pilot wave. State-wide rollouts run 30–60 days. The long pole is almost always telephony registration, not the AI.
Can the agent speak in my own voice?
No. Cloning a real political figure's voice for synthetic speech is prohibited under the ECI's 2024 advisory, and AiSewak does not build it. The agent uses a designed persona that identifies itself as an AI assistant calling on your behalf, which is both legal and — in field testing — better received.
Who owns the voter data and the call recordings?
You do. Data is processed under a DPDP-compliant agreement with a named purpose, retention window and deletion path. AiSewak does not reuse constituency data across clients, and recordings can be held in Indian data residency on request.
See it working on your own constituency
Bring one booth list and one issue you want tested. We will put a live agent on a short wave of calls and read the transcripts with you — before any commitment.
Every AiSewak agent identifies itself as an AI at the start of the call, never asks for an OTP or a payment, and honours DND. Election deployments require ECI / state CEO registration as a political advertiser.
