What we built, and how it actually runs
Seven public AiSewak pilots — welfare scheme copilots, a unified state helpline, two visitor information lines, a scheme-awareness outreach agent and a tribal language bridge. Each page sets out the problem, what was built, the languages and channels, how it runs, and what a department can replicate.
Uttar Pradesh
योजना दीदी
Yojana Didi · Citizen services and welfare delivery
A Hindi-first scheme copilot for Uttar Pradesh: eligibility in one conversation, documents and the exact counter, and a live lookup on official portals when the answer changed this week.
Maharashtra
योजना ताई
Yojana Tai · Citizen services and welfare delivery
A Marathi-first scheme copilot for Maharashtra, presented as a video agent, covering Ladki Bahin, PM-JAY with MJPJAY, MahaDBT scholarships and PM Surya Ghar.
Rajasthan
बाईसा
Baisa · Unified citizen helpline and grievance intake
One number for every department in Rajasthan: the agent works out which department the problem belongs to, answers, routes, registers a grievance and closes with a satisfaction rating.
Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh
सिया
Siya · Pilgrim and visitor information
A pilgrim helpline built on 124 sourced knowledge-base entries across 32 categories, with live official-source lookups and an explicit refusal to answer what nobody has published.
Nashik and Trimbakeshwar, Maharashtra
कुंभ सहायक
Kumbh Sahayak · Mass-gathering visitor information
A Simhastha visitor line covering 250 mapped answers in three languages, which tells callers plainly when no confirmed live update exists rather than guessing at crowd or traffic status.
India, Hindi-speaking states
सूरज
Suraj · Scheme awareness and outbound outreach
An outbound Hindi awareness agent for PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana that explains the subsidy slabs accurately, corrects the solar-is-free misconception, and logs interest for a human follow-up team.
Van Dhan Vikas Kendras, Ministry of Tribal Affairs and TRIFED
वन धन · संताली भाषा सेतु
Van Dhan Santhali · Tribal livelihoods and language access
A Hindi to Santhali bridge for Van Dhan MSP and scheme content, running entirely on Bhashini, with an in-app Ol Chiki to Devanagari converter and an honest readiness panel.
Planning something similar?
Every pilot above started as a two-district scope with a bounded knowledge base and a published list of what the agent refuses to do. Tell us the department, the languages and the first use case, and we will scope the same way.
